Fieldfisher has strengthened its Corporate M&A practice in Spain with the addition of Carlos Blanco Morillo as a new partner. With this appointment, the firm continues to drive growth in one of its strategic practices, particularly in advising on M&A, private equity, and complex corporate transactions. Carlos Blanco joins Fieldfisher’s Corporate M&A team in Spain, led by Rodrigo Martos, and which also includes Paloma Mato, Pablo Vinageras, Javier Fuentes, and Rafael Durán.
Carlos Blanco has 19 years of experience advising private equity funds, portfolio companies, and industrial groups on national and international transactions. His practice focuses on M&A, private equity, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, executive incentive plans, and complex corporate transactions, with a particular sectoral focus on telecommunications and mobility.
Before joining Fieldfisher, Carlos Blanco was an M&A and Private Equity partner at Squire Patton Boggs in Madrid. Previously, he was a partner at Roca Junyent, where he headed the Madrid office and the corporate department; a founding partner of a boutique firm specializing in corporate advisory services; and a senior associate at Uría Menéndez.
