Auren appointed Francisco Mondragón as the new partner responsible for the Audit division at the national level, within the framework of its growth plan, with the aim of continuing to consolidate the excellence of the area and advancing in the generational change within the firm.
Francisco has a solid track record of over 25 years of experience in the field of auditing and has been with Auren for 15 years. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Valencia and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Official Register of Auditors (ROAC). He also serves on the Audit Tribunal of the Center for Financial Studies and participates on various boards of directors.
He began his professional career at EY, where he worked both in Spain and in the London office, gaining an international perspective on auditing. In 2011, he joined Auren as Audit Director in the Valencia office, leading national and international projects in sectors such as industrial, public, and financial. In 2013, he was appointed partner, and since then has played a key role in the development and growth of the firm’s audit practice.
Francisco Mondragón replaces Rafael Nava, who has led the Audit division for the past several years. During his tenure, Nava significantly boosted the division’s growth, strengthening its market position and consolidating a model based on service quality, client proximity, and the technical expertise of its teams.

Furthermore, he wanted to thank Rafael Nava for his work during these years, highlighting “his commitment, leadership and key contribution to the growth and consolidation of the Audit division, as well as his constant involvement in the development of Auren’s common project.”
For his part, Francisco Mondragón stated that he assumes this new responsibility “with enormous enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility. The goal is to continue strengthening a key division for the firm, supporting our clients in an increasingly demanding environment and contributing to the development of a solid, committed team focused on excellence.”
She also emphasized that “the profession faces significant challenges, including strengthening its role in promoting transparency and trust in the business world, leveraging technology as a driver of transformation. At the same time, it is crucial to convey to new generations the relevance and value of a profession that directly contributes to improving the economic and social environment.”
This appointment is part of Auren’s growth strategy, which has been developing in recent years and is based on quality, specialization, and talent development. In the 2024/2025 fiscal year, the firm achieved total revenues of €104 million, 23% of which came from the Audit division.
Auren’s Audit division has experienced 70% growth in the last ten years and currently has more than 250 professionals.
