KLA Advogados announced the arrival of a new partner to strengthen its practice in Civil Litigation and Arbitration. This is Antonio Nachif, who joins the firm to reinforce the area of Dispute Resolution and Corporate Restructuring.
Together with partners Tiago Cortez, Taísa Oliveira and Flávia Alterio, Nachif will act in legal disputes and arbitrations, as well as in the representation of creditors in restructurings and insolvency proceedings.
For partner Tiago Cortez, who coordinates KLA’s Dispute Resolution practice, the arrival of Antonio Nachif strengthens the firm’s ability to offer personalized, high-quality technical service to each client. “Antonio’s track record demonstrates that our firm continues to invest in top talent and personalized solutions to companies’ problems, each with the unique challenges of its industry.”
The new partner has accumulated experience in litigation related to business contracts, civil liability, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate matters, debt recovery and insolvency, as well as providing preventive strategic advice, including the management of contractual claims.
Throughout his 20-year career, Nachif has worked with clients in various sectors, with particular expertise in renewable energy and construction projects. His work is recognized by legal directories and rankings such as Leaders League and Lexology (formerly Who’s Who Legal).
A doctoral candidate in Civil Law and holder of a Master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law from USP, the new partner earned his LL.M. (Master of Laws) from King’s College London. In London, he worked as a visiting lawyer at the firm WilmerHale, specializing in international arbitration. Nachif is a member of organizations such as the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr) and the M&A and Corporate Restructuring Committee of the Chamber of Business Mediation and Arbitration (CAMARB).
