KLA Advogados announced the appointment of Lorena Serraglio as the new Director of Data Protection and Privacy, Intellectual Property and KLAI – the firm’s center for Artificial Intelligence, Technology and Innovation.
According to Melissa Kanô, partner who heads the Media and Entertainment area, and the KLA Executive Committee, the arrival of Lorena Serraglio will bring technical excellence to a multidisciplinary team and further strengthen the firm’s consistent, business-oriented customer service.
Under his leadership, the team will continue to serve clients across a wide range of sectors, including technology, pharmaceuticals, logistics, infrastructure, advertising, as well as gambling and sports betting.
With more than 12 years of experience, Lorena Serraglio has been recognized by international legal rankings such as Legal500 (Cybersecurity and Data Protection).
She holds an MBA in Electronic Law (Escola Paulista de Direito), is a graduate of the Internet Governance School (Brazilian Internet Steering Committee), and has completed specialization programs in Privacy and Data Protection (Data Privacy Brasil) and Privacy and Security (Rio de Janeiro Institute of Technology and Society). She is also a researcher at the Center for AI and Digital Policy.
