Pinsent Masons continues to drive the growth of its practice in Spain with the addition of Belén Lavandera as a new partner in the Labor Law area, coming from Linklaters.
The addition of Belén significantly strengthens Pinsent Masons’ Labor practice in Spain, a strategic practice for the firm in a context marked by the transformation of labor relations, the increase in regulatory complexity and the growing integration of labor advice in corporate operations.
With extensive and renowned experience in labor law, advising large national and international companies and private equity funds on all types of complex labor matters, Belén provides sophisticated, high-value-added advice on corporate restructurings, collective bargaining, the hiring and termination of senior management and directors, labor litigation, and M&A transactions with labor implications, including processes involving multiple jurisdictions. Throughout her career, Belén has participated in some of the most significant corporate transactions in the market, advising on the labor aspects of acquisitions, divestitures, and initial public offerings, and leading large-scale collective bargaining proceedings.
His practice also includes advising boards of directors and remuneration committees, as well as advising on highly complex restructuring processes, with an impact on the Spanish regulatory framework.
