Dentons has appointed Miguel Barroso López as a new partner in the New Technologies and Data Protection department. Before joining Dentons, Barroso was of counsel at Herbert Smith Freehills, specializing in regulated sectors, emerging technologies, and data protection, where he was a member of the firm's international Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies groups. Previously, he also spent time at Deloitte Legal as a senior associate, participating in numerous cross-functional advisory projects.
