FinSight Ventures led Cashea’s $60 million Series B funding round, which closed in June 2026, as announced on July 21. Cashea is a Venezuelan buy-now-pay-later platform founded in Caracas in 2022.
With this transaction, Cashea raises its total capital raised to $100 million, following its previous $40 million Series A round—closed in March 2016 and led by Spice Expeditions. The Series B round also included participation from Spice Expeditions, Endeavor Catalyst, Plug & Play, the Washington University endowment in St. Louis, and a group of Latin American investors, including Krealo, Amador, Andrés Bello Catholic University, and NuMundo Ventures.
A Nelson Mullins team comprised of partners Brennan Ryan, Leandro Molina, and Caio Prado acted as lead U.S. legal counsel to FinSight Ventures on the transaction. Legal counsel to Cashea and the other investors in the round has not been confirmed. Molina and Prado are part of Nelson Mullins’ Latin America and Caribbean team, co-led by Molina and John Haley in Miami.
The transaction reflects the growing interest from global institutional capital in Cashea’s interest-free financing model, which operates in a consumer market historically limited by restricted access to bank credit. For Nelson Mullins, the transaction builds on a track record of advising private equity firms on cross-border investment deals in Latin America.
