Brazilian boutique firm specializing in corporate and economic criminal law, JDRassi Advogados, has added Eloisa Yang as a partner following a period of professional practice in New York. Admitted to practice law in both Brazil and New York State, Yang resumes a previous professional collaboration with founding partner João Daniel Rassi and brings to the firm experience in international criminal investigations and matters.
Yang has over eight years of experience representing Brazilian and multinational individuals, executives, and companies in investigations, criminal proceedings, and internal investigations. Before moving to the United States, he worked with Rassi at another firm, where he participated in handling criminal litigation and investigations involving companies and individuals.
The addition brings a transnational dimension to JDRassi’s practice at a time when investigations involving companies and executives may require coordination across different jurisdictions, authorities, and legal systems. Yang’s experience in the United States particularly enhances the firm’s capabilities in matters related to investigations, evidence gathering, and economic sanctions.
Her arrival also revives a previous professional relationship. Yang and Rassi worked together before the creation of JDRassi, and the new firm combines that shared history with the experience the lawyer subsequently developed in the US market.
