Gumucio Litigation Corporate announced the addition of Cristhian Vargas, as a senior associate in the Litigation area, Valeria Roca Jaramillo, as a semi-senior associate in the Corporate area, and Laura Trujillo, as an associate in the Corporate area.

Cristhian has built a solid professional track record over more than seven years at a regional law firm, specializing in civil, labor, commercial, and administrative litigation, as well as dispute resolution. He has been recognized by the British ranking The Legal 500 in the areas of Dispute Resolution and Labour & Employment since 2023. He graduated with academic honors from Gabriel René Moreno University. He earned a Master’s degree in Civil and Civil Procedural Law from the same institution and holds a diploma in Labor Law and Social Security from Universidad del Valle. His experience strengthens the firm’s corporate litigation practice.
Valeria joins Gumucio after working as an associate at a renowned Bolivian law firm. She has extensive experience in corporate law, real estate, due diligence, contract law, company law, mergers and acquisitions, and comprehensive legal counsel to businesses. Her addition will contribute to the growth and consolidation of Gumucio’s corporate practice. She is a graduate of the German School and holds a law degree with honors from UPSA.
Finally, Laura joined Gumucio’s corporate practice, specializing in trademarks, an area of expertise she gained after working as an attorney at a boutique firm specializing in trademark and intellectual property law. She graduated with academic honors from the Bolivian Catholic University, where she received numerous awards for her outstanding academic performance, including being recognized as the top student in the Law program. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Legal Management, Business, and Compliance at the Andean University Simón Bolívar.
